Job Description:
Examine, analyze and interpret accounting information and prepare financial reports/statements. Conduct audit fieldwork using appropriate auditing methods such as observation, research, interviews, document review, and data analysis. Prepare financial and auditing reports and statements. Develop and execute audits, evaluating risk assessment and control effectiveness. Provide business insight on governance, risk management, and controls. Communicate project status to departmental representatives and clients. May oversee the work of other auditors. Apply the principles and techniques of accounting and auditing. May be assigned to various accounting or auditing projects and tasks that utilize the required skills. Requires domestic and international travel up to 30%.
Minimum Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
● Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in planning and executing internal or external audits.
● Position also requires education or experience in: Control gap analysis and documentation; Internal controls testing; Planning and executing operational, finance, and tax audits; Project Management; Management of teams; Preparing project reports and presenting project results; and Preparing internal audit approach and scope, preparing audit program, and determining audit procedures to be used.
